Abstract

Making crafts that still use traditional tools can illustrate that these pottery craftsmen are lagging behind the times. And there are also issues regarding marketing that can be used to compete in this modern era. To overcome this problem, community service activities were carried out involving the heads of craftsmen groups. Training is carried out to increase crafters' understanding of effective marketing strategies. The result of this dedication is the use of social media. Apart from that, this training also attracted the attention of suppliers who previously did not know about the existence of craftsmen in Alaskandang Village, so that they could collaborate with craftsmen through social media.
