Abstract

This research aims to analyze and understand the efforts made by the Nurul Yaqin Islamic boarding school and the Semi Islamic boarding school in increasing the independence of students who do not live in Islamic boarding schools. This study uses a qualitative approach. This method uses a qualitative approach with the type of phenomenology where the data collection technique uses observation, interviews, and documentation as a whole to the kiai and several students at those two Islamic boarding school. Data analysis was carried out by presenting data, reducing data and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the my day in Ma'had program is conducted by Nurul Yaqin Islamic boarding school and Semi Islamic boarding school in increasing the independence of students through Diniyah time activities, heart lanterns (furudul 'aniyah deepening), Dinner with friends, furudul ainiyah deepening, go to my dream. Waking up for Tahajjud Prayers, Morning prayers in congregation, cleaning, madin schools, reciting the Koran, memorizing, dibaiyah, tahlil and reading surah al-Kahfi, Cultum
