Penerapan Manajemen Mutu Terpadu Dalam Pendidikan Islam

Penelitian ini mengkaji penerapan Manajemen Mutu Terpadu (MMT) dalam pendidikan Islam sebagai respons terhadap tuntutan peningkatan mutu yang dipicu oleh globalisasi, standar nasional pendidikan, serta kebutuhan transformasi kelembagaan di era Society 5.0. Studi ini bertujuan menganalisis kesenjangan antara mutu ideal—yang menekankan akhlak, spiritualitas, dan kompetensi—dengan realitas tata kelola lembaga pendidikan Islam yang masih bersifat administratif, tidak terintegrasi, dan kurang berbasis data, serta merumuskan strategi penerapan MMT yang adaptif terhadap nilai-nilai itqan, ihsan, dan amanah. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui analisis dokumen, wawancara, dan observasi, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa implementasi MMT sering terhambat oleh lemahnya pemahaman prinsip TQM, minimnya budaya mutu, rendahnya partisipasi warga sekolah, serta keterbatasan sistem penjaminan mutu internal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa MMT memiliki potensi kuat meningkatkan kualitas layanan pendidikan, efektivitas manajerial, dan kolaborasi warga sekolah ketika diterapkan secara konsisten dan ditopang kepemimpinan yang visioner serta penggunaan teknologi informasi. Selain itu, integrasi nilai Islam dalam MMT terbukti memperkuat dimensi etis dan spiritual manajemen pendidikan, menjadikannya lebih kontekstual dan berkelanjutan. Kesimpulannya, penerapan MMT yang diadaptasi dengan karakteristik lembaga pendidikan Islam dan didukung budaya mutu yang partisipatif mampu mendorong peningkatan mutu pendidikan secara komprehensif dan sistemik.
