This research aims to analyze effective strategies for managing stress experienced by college students, focusing on implementing the quality of emotional control. The stress that occurs in students is often influenced by academic pressure, social life, and other demands that can impact their mental health. The research method used is a qualitative approach, case study type, with in-depth interviews with several students at the institution to be studied to explore their experiences in dealing with and managing stress. The data obtained was analyzed using thematic analysis techniques to identify patterns of strategies used by students in dealing with academic, social, and personal pressure. The research results show that several methods that have proven effective in managing stress include good time management, the application of meditation or relaxation techniques, and social support from friends, family, and the surrounding environment. These techniques are vital in reducing students' academic and social stress. The implications of this research are very relevant for developing more structured mental support programs. They can help students manage stress more effectively and improve their mental well-being.
