This study aims to examine the integration of spiritual values and environmental practices via Spiritual Waste Management in Islamic education. It aims to contribute to the development of a Tawhidic moral and psychological model of understanding how mosque activities contribute to the development of environmental awareness among santri communities. This study uses a mixed-method research design with surveys on environmental awareness and moral responsibility. It also used an observation and interview method during a community program held in an eco-mosque setting. The study revealed that waste management activities, such as waste separation and recycling, not only contribute to environmental protection but also to spiritual development (tazkiyatun nafs). This study identified three main aspects of how waste management activities contribute to spiritual development: tawhidic awareness as a moral foundation for waste management activities, embodied ecological practice via waste management activities, and collective reinforcement of waste management activities via religious communities. This study revealed a paradigm shift in environmental attitudes and behaviors of the participants. This study concluded that an eco-mosque program can be reconceptualized as a moral-ecological laboratory for a transformative model of integrating spirituality, psychology, and sustainability in Islamic education.
