Correction and Retraction

Educazione: Journal of Education and Learning is committed to maintaining the integrity of the scholarly record. This policy explains the circumstances under which a published article may be corrected or retracted, following the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Corrections: A correction (erratum or corrigendum) will be issued when a minor error in a published article affects the scientific record but does not invalidate the overall findings or conclusions, such as a mistake in data presentation, a missing acknowledgment, or a bibliographic error. The correction will be linked to the original article and will clearly describe the change made.

Retractions: A retraction will be issued when an article contains findings that are unreliable due to misconduct (such as data fabrication or falsification), honest error, plagiarism, duplicate publication, or when the work infringes on the rights of others. A retraction notice will be published, linked to the original article, and will explain the reason for the retraction.

Process: Concerns regarding the accuracy or integrity of a published article should be submitted to the editorial office. The editor will investigate the concern, which may include contacting the author(s) and, where necessary, their institution. Based on the findings of the investigation and in accordance with COPE guidelines, the editor will determine whether a correction, retraction, or expression of concern is warranted.

Retracted Article Note: The original article will remain accessible, marked as retracted, with the retraction notice linked prominently to the original text to preserve the integrity of the scholarly record.
